Little Birds : Capsule Closet

Building a Fall ready Capsule Closet

If you have followed me since the beginning, then you know I care for my girls’ wardrobes like I do my own (if not more). I try to go for a less is more approach where I am building outfits around key pieces that fit into our daily lives and our lifestyle. Knowing when and where to spend a little more and pay attention to quality over quantity.

With Madison in school now, it is even more important to spend smart and build a wardrobe that is not only sustainable but adaptable to events outside of school. Of coarse, there are still pieces that will not be worn to school (ahem, a delicate blouse for instance) but if we choose wisely, our wardrobes will be filled with comfortable basics and interchangeable quality pieces.

Here is what I look for when shopping for my littles!

At the end of the day, I like to keep it pretty simple…or at least this is simple for me. I know what to look for and I stick to the stores I like best. Wherever it is you like to shop for your littles – stick to what works for your lifestyle and always include pieces that can go from school to after school, day to night and everything in between. The best way to make the most out of your dollar.

What’s your favorite Kids store?

With Love,

Michelle and the minis xo
